Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott expressed excitement about the upcoming tour, stating, “Having just completed a sensational 18-month run promoting our Diamond Star Halos album, we shall hit the boards running with a brand-new stage show and set of songs that will celebrate specific parts of our history. We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves… so, wanna join us!? See you in the summer!”
Def Leppard
Last summer, Def Leppard embarked on a stadium tour with Mötley Crüe, Poison, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, catering to hair metal enthusiasts. This time, the tour is geared towards arena rock aficionados, with Cheap Trick scheduled for four shows, Heart for three, and Steve Miller Band for 16.
Despite internal conflicts between Journey guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain over the past year, the band’s touring momentum remains strong. They toured with Toto last year and are set to play arenas together in early 2024.
Heart has also experienced a tumultuous period, with Ann and Nancy Wilson reconciling after a family dispute that kept them apart from 2016 to 2019. However, they have toured separately over the past four years due to differing visions for the band. Nancy Wilson toured as “Nancy Wilson’s Heart” with vocalist Kimberly Nichole, but the sisters recently reunited onstage after four years in Santa Rosa, California.
