“Spectrum’s Super Bowl 2024 Ad Highlights Home Internet Superiority and Reliability”

In the 30-second advertisement aptly named “Holes,” a Spectrum‘s Super Bowl 2024 mother returns home to find her family has created a gaping hole in the living room wall to enhance their internet signal. Dad humorously explains, “Turns out the walls were getting in the way.”

Spectrum’s Super Bowl 2024

While the concept of knocking holes in walls for better internet service is comical, the ad effectively highlights the challenges faced by users of cell phone home internet. Unlike the Super Bowl competition, Spectrum Internet stands out with 24/7 reliability, security, and significantly faster speeds, saving customers hundreds of dollars annually compared to the competition.

The commercial, crafted by the agency Something Different, premiered in over two dozen Spectrum markets, including New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Kansas City, during the Super Bowl LVIII matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

Spectrum Home Internet Lives Up to Expectations

Spectrum Internet provides speeds up to 1 Gbps across its operational areas, even penetrating walls. The service exceeded advertised download and upload speeds for all tiers, as per the FCC’s 2023 Measuring Broadband America Fixed Broadband Report. In contrast, data reveals that cell phone internet providers, also known as “fixed wireless access,” struggled to consistently maintain speeds above 25 Mbps – the FCC’s minimum broadband definition – during peak hours from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. More details about Spectrum Internet can be found at www.spectrum.com/internet.
