REDMAGIC Unveils the RedMagic 9S Pro: A New Flagship Gaming Phone
REDMAGIC has announced its latest flagship gaming phone, the RedMagic 9S Pro, in China. This new model succeeds the RedMagic 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ introduced last year.
The RedMagic 9S Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version, offering up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Advanced Cooling System REDMAGIC
Both the RedMagic 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ feature the ICE 13.5 advanced cooling system. This system includes a 10182mm² single-layer vapor chamber (VC) plate and a new frost cooling gel to reduce thermal resistance, lowering the core temperature to 19.5°C. The devices also have an upgraded 22,000 rpm high-speed turbofan with shark-fin blades that operates almost silently at just 4dB.
Enhanced Gaming Features
The phones come equipped with custom RGB lights for shoulder buttons and an eye protection solution with 2160 Hz PWM+DC dimming.
The RedMgic 9 Pro series Game Space has seen extensive upgrades with new gaming features and AI enhancements powered by the 9.5 operating system. Key features include:
- Smart Navigator Gaming: Provides real-time recommendations on popular game-related topics and voice-to-text input for quick inquiries.
- AI Trigger: Tailors trigger conditions based on the user’s gaming habits for seamless automatic recognition.
- Sound Recognition Technology: Identifies and uses sound logos on the mini map to assist with in-game decision-making.
- REDMAIC Moments: Automatically captures and edits screenshots and clips, and converts in-game highlights into game atmosphere images for the game lobby.
AI Integration
The upgraded REDMAGIC AI and the brand’s mascot, Mora, offer voice-activated wake-up capabilities, alarm setting, and periodic transitioning of the video display to a gaming-themed map. The AI assistant also enhances scene recognition, increasing accompanying play function accuracy by more than 30%, and provides valuable in-game guidance.
